Originally a 2-piece, The Clubheads as a proper band formed in 2022 upon the introduction of bassist Luke Johns. A punk band at its core, the trio debuted at the Lewes Road Inn and carried on the momentum for several years, releasing their first single “Spit” in February 2024. After that, the gigs for The Clubheads kept going which coincided with the release of “Rats” in July and resulted in the band releasing their EP “A clubbed head” in December that same year. Their debut album released on the 21st August 2025, dubbed “You should hang around”.
