Beginnings, YouTube releases

Sleepless Pleasures are a Brighton based post-punk band that originally began as a 4-piece. The group first comprised of Brettle, Hallworth, Swan and Bodman as the primary lineup, they debuted in October 2024 supporting Scruff with Fat Lloyd at The Pipeline. Following the show, the band would spend the next period gigging around the Brighton music scene. They would also adopt a ‘saturated’ and ‘gas mask’ imagery in their social media branding which would be showcased in the music video for their debut single. The song was called “In Style” and released on the 2nd March, but was released on YouTube and not been released on any other streaming platform. The same would apply to their second single “A New Floor” in April.

London joins, debut EP

In October 2025, Frank London would join the band, pushing Sleepless Pleasures to a 5-piece. The group would capitalize by releasing their first single to go on Spotify, the previous singles have since not been acknowledged by the band. The single was “Dizzyhead” and it debuted in November 2025, strangely enough, bassist Theo Hallworth is not credited in the song but still remained in the lineup. This momentum would be pushed onwards by the release of their debut EP “Awake Again” in March 2026, promoted by the single “20 Again” the month previous. Sleepless Pleasures would further release two more singles in April, “This Fever Dreams” and “Over & Out”.
