Carva are a alternative rock band best known for their gothic aesthetics online and on stage. Originally formed in December 2022, the group formed under a different name (and debatably a different band completely) as Bareface, a 5-piece blues band featuring Bryant, Coleman, May, Lamb and Abrehart. The band’s history has since been wiped, but its known that they released the single ‘Spill the Tea’ in July 2023 before breaking up due to internal issues shortly thereafter. Whilst Bryant and May would focus on IMMY – Bryant’s solo career – the remaining three members would form up again under the current Carva banner, this time adding Alex Harris (Indigo) on lead guitar.

The band would debut in October 2024 with a music video announcing their first gig in November at Dust. This gig would be well received and would help the group secure an early feature on Small Pond’s Emerging Vol 5. This single would be ‘My Fault’ and would release in November 2025. Around that time, Coleman would depart the band but still appear in promotional material. The band would then spend the rest of the year gigging around Brighton.
